Hoffman Warnick LLC counsels clients regarding Intellectual Property transactions, including sales, purchases and licensing.  In particular, we provide due diligence counseling to determine the strength of Intellectual Property.  Further, we provide sound counseling relative to negotiations for licensing focusing on maximizing our clients’ return on their investments.

Relative to these services, we also provide broad corporate experience atypical for a mid-size firm such as HW. HW maintains numerous special counsel arrangements with former corporate counsels that have been involved in some of the most extensive deals in their respective fields.  Special Counsel Douglas Stoner is the former General Counsel of General Electric’s Global Research and Development Center; Special Counsel Edward Lentz is the former General Counsel of Glaxo-Smith-Kline; and Special Counsel Luann Cserr is a former Senior Patent Attorney with the Genetics Institute (now Wyeth).  Mr. Stoner, Mr. Lentz and Ms. Cserr have experience in transactions and licensing in the mechanical, industrial, electronics, electrical, biotechnology and chemical fields.
