& D'Alessandro LLC (HWD), an intellectual property law firm

Albany , NY
, is proud to announce that John LaBatt
has become a member of the firm. Mr.
LaBatt’s practice focuses on all areas of intellectual
property law, including patent prosecution, trademark protection and
prosecution, and intellectual property counseling to small and midsize
companies. He has
been an associate with the firm since 2001.
Mr.
LaBatt’s particular emphasis is with complex electrical,
computer and software inventions.
Mr. LaBatt received Computer Science degrees
from Siena
College
and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Law degree from Albany
Law
School
. Prior
to practicing law, Mr. LaBatt developed software and taught
introductory computing courses.
